Biography

Gerald "Jerry" Inman is the Stanwood Lions Club Secretary, Iowa KidSight Project Director, and also is the State Planning Committee Tri-Chairperson. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1967 and taught chemistry and physics for 34 years before retiring in 2000. Jerry has been a member of the Stanwood Lions Club since 1978 and has received numerous awards, including the G. E. "Bud" Klise Leadership Award and the William E. Scott, M.D. Distinguished Legacy Award.

Jerry enjoys golfing, traveling, and showcasing his 1951 Kaiser at car shows. He believes in stepping forward to help where needed, having served as a volunteer EMT and contributing to his community in various roles. His primary motivation for his involvement with the Lions is screening children with Iowa KidSight.
