Jama started at Iowa KidSight as Follow Up Coordinator in August of 2023. Within a few weeks, she declared it to be "the perfect job for me." Jama spends her working hours contacting parents of children who were referred for possible vision problems. She diligently strives to eliminate any barriers the family faces in obtaining a comprehensive eye exam for their child. In her spare time, Jama enjoys reading, taking long walks, volunteering at the Iowa City Free Lunch Program, and spending time with her 3 adult children and their families.
